Dr. Geri Augusto

I am a Visiting Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University. I am also Associate Fellow at the Centre for Caribbean Thought, University of the West Indies, Mona.

I was a Fulbright Scholar and held my Fulbright research program in Brazil from 2013  to 2014.

I was a  Watson Fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies and Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Policy at the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown.

For three years I co-convened the Critical Global Humanities Institute of the Brown International Advanced Research Institutes (BIARI) and from 1994-2002 taught at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
